Hotel Jarosław

Great hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Very friendly service. They also had gluten free bread for me at breakfast, which was awesome. Only downside and therefore no five stars, was the taxi they had called for me the next day. The taxi driver, an older guy, tried to rip me off, which was very disappointing. The taxi driver quoted a price to the receptionist of the hotel on the phone, which she relayed to me. But then once I arrived at my destination, the taxi driver wanted almost double. And he didn't speak English and I didn't speak Polish. So that was an uncomfortable argument 😳

What an amazing weekend we had here! We were celebrating my friend's wedding day. The staff is exceptional! Every single team member we came across was funny, friendly, helpful and polite! The place is beautiful, rooms very clean and comfortable, freshly refurbished. Breakfast included with many classic choices on the buffet style table. Hotel located in a quiet area, but within walkable distance to town and shops. Food in the restaurant the day before and the day after the wedding was incredible. Pizzas and chocolate fondant are to die for! Same as mojito! Wedding wise, it was beautifully organised, staff again on point, very quick and helpful, immediately organised meals for forgotten vegan in our team. Food again - delicious!! Wonderful area with a small path to walk behind the hotel. I could not praise this place more! Thank you to everyone who made our weekend so special and enjoyable! ❤️

The walls and doors are paper thin. The guy next door is having a conversation on his mobile and it sounds like he's in my room. Two nights ago I had to request the neighbor turn down his TV because at 00:30 I could hear everything. Now I hear him just having a normal conversation in his room. I just don't understand why they build walls this thin for a hotel. Now I can hear someone whistling. The hotel is clean. The staff is very nice. The breakfast is good. The bed is small and feels like it has a plastic sheet underneath, so I'm using the other bed's duvet as a bedsheet. The restaurant has good food.The service is all over the place. First night was great. Second night the waitress disappeared on me. Literally went home and said nothing. Third night I waited 20 minutes after asking for a check. Same thing tonight, and they also added soup to my bill for no reason. I usually tip 20%, but twice I've tipped nothing because of the service. They seem nice, they're just not very good. I used to be a waiter, so I know good service. I'm here two more nights and will look for a different restaurant even though this one is convenient.
